Mr. S. U. Patil

I am Mr. Sourabh Uttam Patil, working as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sanjay Ghodawat Polytechnic, Atigre. I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from VIT, Pune, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT), Islampur. I have one year of teaching experience and one year of industrial experience in the Research and Development Department at Ghatge Patil Industries, Kolhapur, where I contributed to the design and development of Triple Offset Butterfly Valves. My teaching responsibilities include courses such as Fluid Mechanics and Machinery, Engineering Graphics, Theory of Machines, and Computer Aided Drawing and Simulation. I am committed to implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) by integrating practical learning, project-based activities, and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance students' technical competencies. My areas of interest include Fluid Mechanics, Product Design and Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical System Design, Valve Technology, and Artificial Intelligence applications in Mechanical Engineering. I actively participate in Faculty Development Programes, NPTEL certification courses, and workshops on OBE, Generative AI, Systematic Literature Review, and NEP-2020 to continuously enhance my academic and professional skills. Apart from teaching, I contribute to institutional development through academic administration, student mentoring, examination responsibilities, and curriculum-related activities. I am committed to promoting quality technical education, research, innovation, and lifelong learning while preparing students to meet the evolving demands of the engineering profession.
