Dr.B.B.Takale

"Dr. Bhanudas Baijappa Takale is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sanjay Ghodawat Institute. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, graduating with a perfect CGPA of 10.00. His research specializes in Renewable Energy, Solar Thermal Engineering, Heat Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Thermal Energy Storage, and Sustainable Drying Technologies. With over 9 years of teaching and 4 years of research experience, Dr. Takale has taught courses including Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Renewable Energy, Solar Energy, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Engineering Graphics, and Basic Mechanical Engineering. His research integrates advanced experimental investigations with ANSYS Fluent simulations to develop energy-efficient thermal systems. He has successfully guided 2 Master's dissertations and supervised 7 undergraduate (B.E.) engineering projects, fostering research and innovation among students. Dr. Takale has published research in leading SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, including the prestigious Q1 Elsevier journal Energy, and has authored book chapters with Springer Nature and IEEE. He has presented his research at international conferences in Germany, Japan, Spain, and Egypt, as well as at IIT Bombay and IIT Guwahati, receiving the Best Poster Presentation Award in Munich, Germany. He is the inventor of four accepted Indian design patents and actively serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals and conferences. His current research focuses on sustainable thermal systems, solar energy technologies, heat pipes, nanofluids, and clean energy applications."
