Mr. A. A. Patil

"Mr. Ashish Arvind Patil is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Sanjay Ghodawat Institute, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He holds an M. Tech. in Power Electronics and Drives and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at VTU, Belagavi. With over 12 years of teaching experience, he has taught more than 18 courses and possesses expertise in Power Systems, Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicle Technologies, and Outcome-Based Education. He has also served as the Training and Placement Officer (TPO), successfully strengthening industry-institute interaction by coordinating campus recruitment drives, internships, industry collaborations, and skill development initiatives. He has facilitated placements for 500+ students through partnerships with 50+ leading recruiters. He has actively contributed to NBA accreditation as a departmental coordinator, consultant, and resource person, delivering OBE and NBA-related workshops across various institutions. His research interests include photovoltaic-assisted EV charging systems, intelligent power converters, industrial automation, and sustainable energy technologies. He has published 19 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences and has participated in 35+ Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs). He is recognized as an NPTEL Believer by IIT Madras. He is also a Life Member of ISTE, a member of MaTPO, and a recipient of multiple state-level awards for excellence in Training & Placement, industry collaboration, and academic leadership."
