Mrs. K. A. Sutar

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering with over 8.5 years of teaching experience. I hold a Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Civil Engineering and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. My academic interests include water quality assessment, environmental engineering, water resource management, GIS-based analysis, and sustainable environmental solutions. I am actively involved in teaching undergraduate engineering courses and committed to creating an engaging learning environment that combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications. My research focuses on water quality modelling, watershed management, and environmental sustainability to address real-world environmental challenges through scientific and engineering approaches. I have published 8 international research papers, 3 conference papers, 2 patents, and 1 book, demonstrating my dedication to research and innovation. I have also participated in and organized several Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, and academic conferences. I have successfully guided undergraduate engineering projects and contributes to institutional development through academic and outreach activities, including the National Service Scheme (NSS). I am a member of the HDUG, Nashik, and the Association of Architects & Engineers, Kolhapur, and am committed to promoting excellence in teaching, research, and professional development while inspiring future civil engineers.
